About us
We live by Fistral Beach in Newquay, where our garage has been a clay-spattered pottery studio with a kiln we couldn’t wire in, and our spare room doubles as a jewellery workshop and wellbeing factory. We know what it's like to be side-hustling from the hallway and tripping over your tools.
That’s why we created WEDGE.
We believe in making space to multi-task, to explore new skills and projects, to make mistakes doing it and have a damn good time, and that practical arts should be for everyone, not just for those who can afford the kit and the space.
We deeply value community, collaboration and creativity - just some of the reasons we live in what we think is one of the best places to be in the UK. Newquay has been graced by an ever-increasing array of artisans, makers, designers, creatives, and we wanted to create a space to share the wisdom, skills and all round brilliance of our home and it’s people.
We’ve been lucky enough to find the right place at the right time, in a wonderful 1000 square foot warehouse right at the centre of Newquay’s independent heartbeat of Wesley Yard, and look forward to joining the community of indie brands and businesses there.
