Calling all home learners! Claymates is a 6-week version of our popular Fundamentals In Clay course, designed specifically for home schooled kids aged 6-16.
Course Dates:
12th , Thursday: 1pm - 3pm (6 consecutive weeks)
WHAT IS IT?
This introductory course is perfect for kids that are absolute beginners and those looking for a fun and creative way to refresh their skills while also having the chance to make new friends in a supportive environment.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
12 hours of tuition
All materials including clays, glazes and community tools
All kiln firing
Final glazing, ensuring your piece is food safe
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Week 1+2 - studio introduction, idea generation & pinch pots
Week 3+4 - slab building
Week 5+6 - colouring pieces & completing projects with learnt skills
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
An apron or old T-shirt
Instagram saves, a Pinterest board, ideas about a piece that you love
WHO LEADS THE COURSE?
This workshop is taught by a number of studio teachers.
