Fundamentals in Clay
Our signature 8 week journey for absolute beginners and those looking for a skills refresh. FUNDAMENTALS IN CLAY covers the core hand-building techniques, colour and glaze chemistry, and an introduction to throwing at the wheel.
Our fundamentals course is designed to offer you a complete understanding of clay - the methods, process, language, and how to evolves over time. Over our 2 months together we'll guide you on a journey through the textures, tales and potential of claywork, giving you a complete foundation in pottery skills and approaches.
The 8 week course gives you time and space to work on your projects over multiple weeks rather than racing to complete them in just a couple of hours, and we think this creates a deeper understanding and more developed work by the end of the journey.
