Learn Kintsugi.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art. In this course we will explore this concept creating vessels to be broken and fixed again.

This class not only teaches you how to fix your own broken dishes using the traditional technique of Kintsugi. You will also be taught how to handbuild your own creations. From conception to completion. The final week is where things get interesting with learning the technique and finishing your new vessels

The 4 week course gives you time and space to work on your projects over multiple weeks rather than racing to complete them in just a couple of hours, and we think this creates a deeper understanding and more developed work by the end of the journey.
