Our taster workshops are great for those looking to get stuck into pottery for the first time.
This 2 hour crash course is all about the basics of hand-building, with space for you to come up with your own mug design once you’ve got the basics down.
This short, zero commitment workshop takes you from no clue to pottery pro in just a couple of hours.
Ok, so maybe not pro, but you’ll definitely be able to make a unique mug for yourself.
We want you to feel super empowered even if this is your first interaction with pottery, so our tutors will work with you to take your inspiration images and ideas and translate them into something deliverable within the timeframe. Whilst we want everyone to connect with the beauty of the impermanence of a pottery practice, we also want you to have something tangible to take away - if that’s what you want too. If you’re happy to just play and experience and take the pressure off a completed piece, we are also here for that! At the end of the session your piece will be sitting pretty on our drying rack, and if you want to keep it, we’ll get it fired for you just as soon as it’s kiln-ready.
